UPPCS Age Limit Clarification: Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission has issued a clarification regarding the rumours doing the rounds lately. A rumour regarding the reduction of age limit for UP PCS recruitment exam was circulating on social media. Students were seen to believe that the age limit for UP PCS recruitment has been reduced from 40 years to 32 years. Now, UP PSC has clarified the air and confirmed it to be false.
The UPPSC secretary Jagdish put some light on the issue and clarified the media buzz after students were seen protesting in this regard. He also stated that there has been some misunderstanding and information was wrongly circulated on social media. Students misinterpreted the statement released by the UPPSC on improving standards of UP PCS exams. When asked if there are any possible chances of changes in age criteria, he completely denied and said that UPPSC members are not planning on any such proposal.
Candidates are advised to not believe in notice available on social media sites. False and fake information is circulated to spread nuisance among the aspirants.
