Indian Coast Guard has canceled the Yantrik 02/2020 recruitment exam due to the COVID-19 outbreak in the country. The recruitment was to be conducted for a total of 37 vacancies to the post of Yantrik 02/2020 Batch for Mechanical, Electrical and Electronics and Telecommunication. The recruitment exam was initially scheduled to be conducted in April 2020 which but was postponed due to the lockdown in the country. Age Limit
To be eligible for the Indian Coast Guard Yantrik recruitment candidate must be Minimum 18 years and maximum 22 years old (both dates inclusive, upper age relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC category candidates).
Educational Qualification
Candidates Passed 10th (High School) Exam and Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical & Electronics and Telecommunication (Radio / Power) Engineering with 60% Marks.
Selection Procedure
Indian Coast Guard Yantrik recruitment includes Written Test that is an objective type exam. There will be questions from Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics & Telecommunication and will also include some questions of General Knowledge, Reasoning, Aptitude & English. The written test will be conducted at Mumbai, NOIDA, Chennai and Kolkata centers. Candidates who will qualify the written test will undergo Physical Fitness Test (PFT). Those who clear PFT will be required to undergo initial medical examination at the respective recruitment centre. The testing procedure will take 2-3 days.
