Indian Army is accepting applications from Indian citizens, both male and female, for Armed Forces Medical Services. The recruitment is open for the candidates who’ve handed their ultimate MBBS examination in a first or second try for grant of Short Service Commission within the Armed Forces Medical Services. Recruitment is being conducted for a total of 300 vacancies out of which 270 are for male candidates and 30 for female candidates. Candidates can download the recruitment notification from below.

Educational Qualification
The applicant must possess medical qualification included in First/Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule of IMC Act 1956. The applicant must have permanent registration from any State Medical Council/MCI. Postgraduate degree/diploma holders recognized by the State Medical Council/MCI/NBE can also apply.
Note: Only those candidates who have completed/completing their internship on or before
30 Jun 2020 can apply
Age Limit
The maximum age limit for the recruitment is 45 years as on December 31, 2020. Candidates might be interviewed for choice. The interview will be conducted in Delhi. The tentative date for the interview is August 31, 2020 onwards. The candidates showing for interview for the primary time might be paid back and forth sleeper-class railway/bus fare.
