ICAR IARI Assistant Exam Pattern 2022

The candidates must go through the prelims and main exam pattern provided below. The prelims and mains will be the online mode of examination.

IARI Assistant Prelims Exam Pattern 2022

• There will be 4 parts to the IARI Assistant Prelims Exam each consisting of 25 questions.
• The questions will be of Objective type (Multiple Choice Questions)
• For each correct answer, 2 marks will be awarded.
• For each incorrect answer, 1/3rd mark will be deducted.
• The duration for the prelims exam is 1 hour and for scribe candidates, the duration is 1 hour and 20 minutes.

IARI Assistant Mains Exam Pattern 2022

• The candidates qualifying prelims will be eligible for the Mains exam.
• There will be 2 papers in IARI Mains Exam.
• Paper-I will be objective type and Paper-II will be descriptive.
• The time duration for Paper-1 is 2 hours (for scribe 2 hours 40 minutes and Paper-II duration is 1 hour (for scribe 1 hour 20 minutes).
• In the descriptive paper, there would be questions related to the writing of the essay, letters, applications, etc.
• There will be a negative marking of 1/3rd mark in Paper-1

IARI Assistant Skill Test 2022

The candidates qualifying prelims and mains examination will be called for the IARI Assistant Skill Test 2022. IARI Assistant Skill Test is qualifying in nature. The candidates have to appear for a Computer Proficiency Test which includes the following three modules-

IARI Assistant Syllabus 2022 Minimum Qualifying Marks

The number of qualified candidates for the Main Exam will be 10 times the number of vacancies. The result of the preliminary examination will be finalized based on the percentile of marks. The minimum qualifying marks in Preliminary & Main Examinations will not be less than those mentioned below. The category-wise minimum qualifying marks are as follows:

• UR: 30%
• OBC/EWS: 25%
• SC/ST/Divyang: 20%
