Selection Commission has released the official notice for SSC CGL 2017 Exam on
15th May 2017. Now the picture is clear to all, it is important to start
preparing for the exam if you are really studying dedicatedly and wholeheartedly.
Approx. 75 days are left and All of you need to utilize these remaining days in
more rewarding ways. All the candidates need to dedicate 6-8 hours daily to score
higher marks and to expect great dividends at the end of the exam process. In
order to achieve this, all of you need to study all the topics and revise
thoroughly at least 3 times till your CGL tier-1 exam.

must have learned that the SSC CGL Tier-1 cut off was record breaking high in
2016. Hence, in 2017 CGL Tier-1 exam, you can also expect the same more or
less. Now since, SSC has reduced the time limit for tier-1 exam 60 min, from
75 min. as it was earlier, now you will experience the tough level of competition.

In this whole process, you need to stay motivated and optimistic through
this period of time. Your positive attitude is equally as important as your
studies and practice.

Focus is the key: In this digital era, there are so many distractions so try to avoid them. devote your most of the time to self-study only. Go to net only when you need some guidance. try to avoid Facebook and WhatsApp as much as possible. keep your mobile phone in Do not disturb mode most of the time. give you maximum energy to the exam preparation only.

understand the syllabus and the pattern of the exam including all the 3 tiers.
Take a print out of the syllabus and have good look at it and plan your studies
Material: there are some many books for the exam and most of them
are just a waste of money and your precious time. so, make a wise selection of
books and don’t read multiple books on a single topic. instead of reading three
different books read a single book thrice. that would be more effective. Make

Weak Points: We all have our strengths and weaknesses. So, after a

particular topic. Keep revising your strong topics, these topics will fetch you
maximum marks with greatest accuracy. And your weak areas need more attention,
