Selection – SSC CGLE 2016
POST–AAO (Assistant Audit Officer)
Hello Readers,
Before writing anything, I want to clarify that I am an average student who has completed his schooling from village school through Hindi medium. And I always believe in practice and continuity to achieve any goals in my life. I want to share my brief journey of success story though it is not a success story but story of achieving the target within the stipulated time period Which might inspire students or help to tackle challenges like frustration, family burden & money problem etc.
I am one of the fewest people of the planet whose father had died before the celebration of my first birthday and my family is limited to me and my mother. But fortunately, my uncle who provided me everything that needs for survival and education.I went to Kanpur to study after passing high school exam and took admission in English medium (I.C.S.E Board). For me, It was very difficult to understand anything in English and to write in English in clear manner as other student did it. I had no option to leave this school and take admission in another school as my uncle had paid the big amount of fee. I failed every time in the sessional exam but passed in final Board exam. There was a provision in that school, if you fail in one paper then you will be declared pass. Though I had got just 69 percent, I learned not to succumb but face it.
Due to financial constraints, I had left my dream to start JEE preparation so that I might take the admission in IITs or NITs. I joined state level govt. Engineering College through UPSEE which was more satisfactory than 69% in board exam result. After completion of B. Tech in June 2015. I started doing a job in the Private Textile company. In this job, everything was opposite to my expectation as most of the engineers have same views. I decided to quit the job within the three months and started working with the friend start up and again quit it and decided to start job preparation.
On January 16, 2016, I came to Delhi and joined NCERT Course for G.S. because at that time I did not know a, b, c of this subject. When the 6-month passed, had left with no money and my uncle was not in such a good position to support me financially. Therefore, I started searching for a job and got it within one month. This job was of 9-hour work with the salary of 15k.
With this job, I continued preparation of SSC CGL 2016 but very soon I realized that it was very difficult to manage the time as I left with four hours to study. I devoted most of the time for English and General studies section. Before the month of the exam of tier-I & tier-II. I changed focus to practice online mock test. I used to give one mock test paper in the morning from 5:30 to 7:30 am daily and after that at least 60 minutes to analyse the mock paper. This continuous study of about 6 months resulted in a success of SSC CGLE-2016
My Advice to SSC CGL Aspirants
(i) Make your own study plan and study according to it. Don’t follow toppers study plan because they suggest study plan according to themselves. (You know yourself better than other.
(ii) End of the everyday recall what you have learned or studied new things.
(iii) Always focus on continuity and practice Continuity- At least solve one quiz of 15-20 question daily basic in time-bounded manner. It will help you in touch with your goals. For this, you may use Adda247 app or web portal- sscadda.com. Practice- Solve at least one mock test paper from a good test series like Career Power or others you may like it.
Note: All the selected candidates of CGL 2015 and CGL 2016 are kindly requested to send their Success stories. You worked hard for it, sacrificed a lot, now inspire others to follow their dream and achieve success in their lives.
