    I want to know abt ssc tier-2 paper3 i.e. STATISTICS ; for wht posts does it held and whether it affects the scoring of paper 1,2 i.e. maths & english ; whether it is compulsory to take this paper

  2. no if u r not eligible for statistics paper just ignore d exam. it will be held for the post of statistical investigator, so it requires degree in statistics must

  8. compound interest = Rs. 378.
    so, amount =Rs.(1800+378) = Rs 2178
    (2178/1800) = 1.1^n
    1.1^n = 1.21
    ans : option C

  9. circumference of the base of the cylinder = 12
    so, 2 x pi x r = 12
    r = (6/pi)
    and height = 5 cm
    volume = (pi) x r^2×5 = (pi) x (6/pi)^2 x 5
    = 180 / pi
    option D.

  10. adding both the equations we get,
    1887x + 1887y = 1887
    so, x + y = 1
    subtracting we get,
    111x -111y = 777
    so, x – y = 7
    x^2- y^2 = (x + y) (x – y) = 7
    option A
