Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) released a total of 1493 vacancies for the recruitment of various Executive & Non-Executive posts in the Delhi Metro. 2. For Non- Executive posts (Section ‘B’ & ‘D’ Posts)

SECTION ‘B’ – Regular Posts

Jr. Engineer (Electrical, Electronics, Civil, Environment, Stores), Fire Inspector, Architect Asst & Asstt. Programmer, Legal Asstt., Accounts Asstt., Stores Asstt., Asstt./CC, Office Asstt.)

The selection methodology for the mentioned posts will comprise a two-stage process:

3. For Customer Relations Assistant Posts

The selection process will consist of a three-Stage process as given below:

Psycho Test (Qualifying Only)
Medical Examination

4. For Stenographer Posts

The selection process will consist of a three-Stage process as given below:

CBT (two papers)
Skill Test (Qualifying Only)
Medical Examination

5. For Maintainers posts (Electrician, Electronic Mechanic, and Fitter)

The selection process will consist of a two-stage process as mentioned below:

Note: Candidates will have to pass through each stage successfully (including Medical examination), before being adjudged as suitable for selection.

DMRC Exam Pattern 2019-20 For all posts except Maintainers

The computer-based test for all posts will comprise of 2 papers- Paper 1 & paper 2 to be held on the same day at the same center. The CBT will consist of multiple-choice questions

It will consist of multiple-choice objective type questions [bilingual (Hindi/English)]
Negative Marking: For every wrong answer 1/3 marks will be deducted.
Candidates have to qualify separately in Paper-I & Paper-II.
Normalization- This method will be applicable for evaluating CBT results, where the CBT is held in more than one shift.
Candidates who qualify separately in Paper-I & Paper-II and rank high on the merit list within the zone of consideration shall be called, based on the overall merit of CBT (both Paper-I & Paper-II together), category wise, for Medical Examination/GD &/or Interview, at Delhi/NCR.

DMRC Exam Pattern 2019-20: Marking Scheme

Each question will carry 1 mark counting to a total of 120 marks in paper 1 and 60 marks in Paper 2.
There will be negative marking. For every wrong answer, 1/3 marks will be deducted.
The questions not answered will not carry any marks.

DMRC Exam Pattern 2019-20: Skill Test for Stenographer

The skill test will be of Qualifying Nature.
The candidates will have to appear for the stenography test.
The candidates will be given one dictation for 10 minutes in English at the speed of 80 w.p.m. The matter will have to be transcribed on the computer only.
The transcription time will be of 40 minutes (English).

DMRC Recruitment 2019-20: Training

The selected candidates (both Regular & Contract), will undergo intensive training for the prescribed duration before posting on the job.
The Corporation has the right to enhance or reduce the training period at its discretion for any or all the trainees.

DMRC Recruitment 2019-20: Probation

The selected candidates (on regular posts) on appointment will be on probation for a period of two years (including the period of training).
During the probation period, candidates shall be required to pass various examinations.
