1.  SLATE (verb) आलोचना करना
Meaning: criticize severely.
Synonyms: attack, pillory, lambaste, revile.
Antonyms: applaud, acclaim, compliment, admiration.
Usage: The play was slated by the critics.

2.  FOIST (verb) थोपना
Meaning: impose an unwelcome or unnecessary person or thing on.
Synonyms: impose, force, thrust, inflict.
Antonyms: aid, help, overlook, prevent.
Usage: The government has decided to foist yet another tax increase on the public.

3.  PROCURE (verb) परिश्रम से प्राप्त करना
Meaning: obtain (something), especially with care or effort.
Synonyms: acquire, attain, earn, reap.
Antonyms: relinquish, surrender, yield, forfeit.
Usage: You may have to barter with Jim to procure the essential supplies you need.

4. DAMNING (adjective) घातक
Meaning: (of a circumstance or piece of evidence) strongly suggesting guilt or error.
Synonyms: incriminating, derogatory, catastrophic, destructive.
Antonyms: auspicious, encouraging, optimistic, propitious.
Usage: She waved back, wondering how the most damning of them all was also the only who seemed anywhere able to feel sympathy.

5. CONCOMITANT (noun) आनुषंगिक
Meaning: a phenomenon that naturally accompanies or follows something.
Synonyms: accompaniment, attendant, corollary, adjunct.
Antonyms: irrelevant, unaided, unattached, unrelated.
Usage: Puberty is the stage of life where adolescents begin to experience concomitant changes in their bodies, their emotions, and their view of their parents.

6. HISTRIONIC (noun) नाटकीय
Meaning: melodramatic behavior designed to attract attention.
Synonyms: drama, affectation, exaggerated, farcical.
Antonyms: restrained, subdued, phlegmatic, stolid.
Usage: Whenever the spoiled toddler does not get her way, she begins to yell in a histrionic manner.

7. HOLISTIC (adjective) समग्र
Meaning: relating to or concerned with complete systems rather than with individual parts.
Synonyms: comprehensive, entire, integrated, complete.
Antonyms: deficient, fragmental , divided, reduced.
Usage: Under the project guidelines, the student educators must create a holistic lesson that makes use of all five senses.

8.  INTRANSIGENT (adjective) दुराग्रही
Meaning: unwilling or refusing to change one’s views or to agree about something.
Synonyms: resolute, inexorable, inveterate, tenacious.
Antonyms: tractable, acquiescent, subservient, obsequious.
Usage: When it came to their willingness to extend my curfew, my parents were intransigent and would not budge.

9.  ABET (verb) उकसाना
Meaning: encourage or assist (someone) to do something wrong.
Synonyms: foment, incite, instigate, provoke.
Antonyms: constrain, restrain, allay, soothe.
Usage: If you abet violence in your home, you should not be surprised if your children grow up to be abusers.

10.  FITFUL (adjective) अस्थिर
Meaning: active or occurring spasmodically or intermittently; not regular or steady.
Synonyms: intermittent, sporadic, spasmodic, unsteady.
Antonyms: constant, continuous, steady, unwavering.

Usage:  Because the weather has been fitful lately, we are not sure if our outdoor wedding is going to take place.
