Chapterwise Quant Quiz For SSC CGL 2016: (MIXTURE AND ALLIGATION)

7.A vessel is filled with milk and water. 70% of milk and 30% of water is taken out of the vessel. It is found that the vessel is vacated by 55% and has 240 L mixture. Find the quantity of milk in this mixture.

8.Coffee worth Rs. 126 per kg and Rs. 134 per kg are mixed with a third variety in the ratio 1 : 1 : 2. If the mixture is worth Rs. 153 per kg, the price of the third variety per kg will be

10.60 kg of Rice I at Rs. 32 per kg is mixed with 48 kg of Rice II and the mixture is sold at the average price of Rs. 28 per kg. If there be no profit or loss due to the new sale price, then the price of the second variety of rice is
