Changes in SSC CHSL 2023

Staff Selection Commission has published the most awaited recruitment of the year with 1600 vacancies on 9th May 2023 on the official website. SSC CHSL is conducted for the recruitment of Lower Division Clerks, Junior Secretariat Assistants, and Data Entry Operators. With the release of the notification pdf candidates are excited to know about the changes, if any in the SSC CHSL 2023 Notification. Earlier the selection process was revised in 2022. This year there is no such big change is seen in the notification.

The total number of vacancies is thrice from the previous year i.e.1600 which is a piece of good news for the candidates preparing for the SSC CHSL 2023. SSC CHSL 2023 notification is out with a big change of conducting the exam in 15 languages all over the country. Candidates have to fill in the option of Medium of Examination carefully while filling out the online application form. The list of languages and codes is as follows:

• In case of any difference/ discrepancy/ dispute in the Questions between English and the opted language, the content of the English version shall prevail.
• The questions will be set in English, Hindi and any language opted for by the candidate in the application form, as given in the above table for Part II, III & IV of the Tier-I examination, and for Tier-II the questions will be set in English, Hindi and any language opted by the candidate except for Module-II (i.e. English Language and Comprehension module) in Section-II.
• The language of Typing Test will be either Hindi or English only for other posts i.e. LDC/ JSA/Candidates have to choose the language of typing test during filing the application form.
• The choice of Typing Test given by the candidate in the online Application Forms will be treated as final and no change in the medium of Typing Test will be entertained later.
