    The first constitution adopted by constituent assembly on 26 November, 1949 .It came in full operation with effect from 26 January, 1950.
    Constitution of India is the longest written constitution of any independent country in the world .
    The first constitu-tion adopted by India originally consisted of 22 parts, 395 articles and 8 schedules .At present it consist of 22 parts, 444 articles and 12 schedules

  8. Dear ,at present articles are 395 n in future it will be remains 395 because no. Of article can't be changed it is amended only..!!

  9. New articles added through amendments have been inserted in the relevant location in the original constitution. In order not to disturb the original numbering, the new articles are inserted with alpha numeric enumerations. For example, Article 21A pertaining to Right to Education was inserted by the 86th Amendment Act.

  10. Right now, our constitution consists of 448 articles in 25 parts, 12 schedules, 5 appendices and 98 amendments (out of 120 Constitution Amendment Bills).
