The written exam for Bihar Amin will be conducted to recruit candidates for 1767 vacancies of Amin Post in various departments under the Bihar government. 10 times candidates to the number of vacancies, approximately 18000 candidates, will be shortlisted to appear for the written exam. As per some media reports, approximately 5.70 lakh applications are received by the board for the Bihar Amin recruitment. Shortlisting 18000 from more than 5 lakh applications can be a daunting task for the Board.

Bihar Amin Exam Pattern
Candidates 10 times from the number of vacancies will be shortlisted to appear for the Bihar Amin Written exam. The Bihar Amin exam will comprise of 2 sections.
- One section will contain subjects namely General Studies, Current Affairs, General Science and General Hindi will contain 50 MCQs for 50 marks.
- The other section will contain 25 MCQs for 25 marks from General Maths.
- The total time of 2 hours 15 minutes will be provided to the candidates for the completion of the exam.
