APPSC Recruitment 2020: Applications are invited for the APPSC Recruitment 2020 Exam from the citizens of India. Conducted by the Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission, the exam will help in the recruitment of 79 posts. These include District Disaster Management Officer (DDMO), Child Development Project Officer (CDPO), District Land Revenue Settlement Officer (DLRSO) and many more posts.
The APPSC Recruitment 2020 Exam comprises of two stages:
- Preliminary Exam (Objective Type) for shortlisting candidates for the Main Exam, and
- Main Exam (Written and Interview) for the selection of candidates for various posts.

Applications are presently, only invited for the APPSC (Preliminary) 2020 Examination. Applicants declared qualified by the Commission will appear for the APPSC (Mains) 2020 Examination
The APPSC Recruitment 2020 Preliminary exam will be conducted in the 17 centres across the state including Itanagar, Ziro, Seppa, Basar, Jairampur, etc.

APPSC Recruitment 2020 Exam Eligibility Criteria
One of the foremost criteria to apply for the APPSC Recruitment 2020 Exam is that the applicant must be a Citizen of India. In addition to that, applicants must fulfill the other eligibility requirements such as Age Limit and Educational Qualification.
APPSC 2020 Exam Age Limit
For all the posts for which the APPSC Exam is conducted, the candidates should be between the age group of 21 years to 32 years, on March 16, 2020.
However, the upper age limit of 32 years is relaxable under certain cases.
- For candidates belonging to Arunachal Pradesh Schedule Tribe, the upper age limit is 37 years.
- For candidates belonging to defence service, disabled in operation during hostility with other nations, the upper age limit is 35 years.
- For candidates belonging to defence service, who are APST disabled in operation during hostility with other nations, the upper age limit is 40 years.
- For candidates belonging to PwD, the upper age limit is 42 years.
Applicants must note that the age concession for Government servants will be as per Government rules and regulations, in force from time to time.
Furthermore, for the proof of age/DOB, the Commission ONLY accepts the Matriculation/High School Leaving Certificate or Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate by an accredited Indian University.
APPSC Recruitment 2020 Exam Educational Qualification
Applicants of APPSC Recruitment 2020 must hold a degree from,
- The UGC authorised universities incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India. OR
- Any other educational institution established by an Act or Parliament.
The undergraduate degree could be in ANY field of academic study. Applicants who have just appeared or intend to appear at such a qualifying examination are also eligible to apply for the APPSC Recruitment 2020 Exam.
Applicants must remember that the cutoff marks will be decided by the Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission only. This will be based on several factors like number of vacancies, the total number of candidates in every stage, reservation norms, and level of difficulties.

APPSC Recruitment 2020 Pay Scale
The Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission has not declared any details regarding the pay scale of various posts. Therefore, the pay scale for each post, under APPSC Recruitment 2020, will be as per Government rules and regulations.
