AP Police Constable Exam Pattern And Syllabus 2021

AP Police Constable Syllabus and Exam Pattern: Recruitment of candidates for 11,356 vacancies of constables and 340 Vacancies of Sub Inspector (SI) will be done this year by the Andhra Pradesh State Level Police Recruitment Board. The official notification is expected to be released by the Andhra Pradesh State Level Police Recruitment Board once the lockdown is over. On the basis of the previous recruitment, we are providing the Andhra Pradesh Police Constable Exam Pattern and Syllabus. In this article, we will cover the AP Police Jobs Syllabus for all the jobs under AP Police. The candidates must go through the provided syllabus for the preparation.  The changes will be updated once the official notification is released.

AP Police Constable Selection Process

The Selection Process for AP Police Constable consists of 4 stages qualifying which candidates will be appointed for final selection based on marks scored in the Final written exam:

  1. Preliminary Written Test
  2. Physical Measurements
  3. Physical Efficiency Test
  4. Final Written Examination

AP Police Constable Preliminary Exam Pattern

The questions asked in the preliminary examination will be objective in nature and will be set in English, Telugu and Urdu Languages. The Preliminary Exam is only qualifying in nature.

AP Police Constable Mains Exam Pattern

Candidates qualifying in the physical efficiency tests will appear for the AP Police constable mains examination. The exam pattern is given below:

  • The paper will be OMR based and to be conducted offline.
  • The final selection will be made based on marks scored in the final exam.

AP Police Constable Syllabus: Preliminary & Mains

The AP Police constable exam syllabus whether preliminary or mains will be based on the intermediate (+2) level. The questions will be asked from the following topics based on the syllabus taught at the higher secondary level.

  1. English: Basic rules of English, Subject-Verb Agreement, Voice, Narration, One Word Substitution, Idioms & Phrases, Antonym, Synonym, Spelling, Passage, Sentance structure, Adjectives, Fill in the Blanks, etc
  2. Arithmetic: Average, Simple Interest, Discount, Time & Work, Partnership, Uses of Table & Graphs, Fundamental Arithmetical Operations, Profit & Loss, The relationship between Numbers, Percentages, Computation of Whole Numbers, Ratio & Proportion, Time & Distance, Number System, Decimals and Fraction
  3. General Science: Covering topics from Physics, Chemistry, and Biology based on 12th level.
  4. History of India, Indian Culture, Indian National Movement: Knowledge of Ancient, Medieval and Modern History of India
  5. Geography Of India: All the physical features of India including peaks, rivers, mountains, temples, dance forms, national park, sanctuaries, etc
  6. Polity: Related to constitution, amendments, article, etc
  7. Economy: Basic Indian Economy as taught in 12th level
  8. Current Affairs of national and international importance
  9. Test of Reasoning/Mental Ability: Syllogism, Statement and Arguments, Statement and Assumptions, Statement and Courses of Action, Statement and Conclusions, Deriving Conclusion, Assertion and Reason, Punch lines, Situation Reaction Tests, Cause and Effect, Analytical Reasoning, Analogy, Classification, Series, Coding-Decoding, Blood Relations, Direction Sense Test, Logical Venn, Diagrams, Alphabet Test, Sitting Arrangements, Mathematical Operations, Arithmetical Reasoning, Inserting the Missing Character, Number, Ranking and Time Sequence Test, Eligibility Test
