According to the latest news, there is good news for the Central Government Employees as they were eagerly waiting for the Dearness Allowance hike. Currently, the Central Government employees, under the 7th pay are getting 17 percent DA, this is expected to reach 28 percent after the restoration of three pending DA installments. The Modi government is about to fulfill the demand of central government employees and pensioners, who were demanding a hike in the Dearness Allowance (DA). If reports are to be believed, the government employees and pensioners may receive a 3 percent DA hike in July, an announcement regarding the same is expected soon. The Dearness Allowance of govt employees and pensioners will go up to 31 percent from September 2021.
HRA After 7th Pay Commission
The central government has extended the time limit to submit TA from the earlier 60 to 180 days ahead of the Dearness Allowance (DA) and Dearness Relief (DR) hike.HRA rates are going to revised to 27%,18% & 9% for X, Y & Z class cities respectively when DA will cross 25% and further revised to 30%,20%, and 10% when DA crosses 50%. These orders shall be effective from 1st July 2017. The orders will apply to all civilian employees of the Central Government.

7th Pay Commission: Delayed in DA Hike
The central government employees and the pensioners will be getting the hike in the DA. The Modi government made the decision to give a hike of an additional 3 percent was decided in the high-level meeting concluded recently on 26th June 2021. The ministry of finance, members of the national council of Joint Consultative Machinery, and the department of personnel have participated in the following high-end meeting. The employees will be getting 31 percent after the latest hike notification regarding the 7th pay commission.
Pension slip through the mail, SMS, and WhatsApp
The pensioners will no longer be asked to physically collect the pension slips as for their convenience, the central government has asked the banks to issue pension slips to the pensioners through SMS, Email, and WhatsApp on their registered contact details.
7th Pay Commission: Hike in Salary
In the 7th pay commission, a hike in salary will also be given to the central government employees once the DA and DR matter is resolved and we are back to the normal situation as soon as the Covid- 19 situation is under control.
