SSC CGL Tier-2 JSO Cutoff: Doubts And Queries

Hello Students,

SSC CGL 2017 Tier-2 Cutoff released yesterday on the official website of SSC. This time cutoff marks for Assistant Audit Officer/ Asst. Accounts Officer (AAO), Junior Statistical Officer (JSO) and other than AAO, JSO posts, went down comparative to the previous years as per the difficulty level and unscrupulous acts in the conduct of Tier-2 Exam. But to the surprise of aspirants, Cut-off for JSO Post in Tier-2 2017 Exam is something that must be taken with a grain of salt. By all accounts, Cut-off for this reputed and high skill demanding post is supposed to lie near about 500 on the scale of Cut-off for T-2 Exam. This post in Tier-2 Examination mandates Paper 1 (Quantitative Ability for 200 marks), Paper 2 (English Language for 200 marks) and Paper-3 (Statistics for Statistical Investigator Gr-II & Compiler Posts only for 200 marks) thus aggregating 600 marks + 200 marks (inclusion of CGL Tier-1 Exam) equivalent to 800 maximum marks in T-I + T-II Exam.

Factoring in the previous year JSO Exam cutoffs viz. 502 for general category in the year 2016, 554.75 for general category in the year 2015 while only 280 for general category for the last year 2017 elucidate high possibility of typing error or some other kind of undivulged fault while preparing the cut-off for SSC CGL JSO Exam 2017. It is hopeful that the Commission will soon unveil the accompanied reason implying the propriety of Cut-off for JSO Post. This extent of slump in the released cut-off for JSO is unexpected and indigestible to many candidates. To alleviate the perplexity of those who are skeptic and still waiting for the notification by the Commission on the said matter, SSCADDA and team has sent a mail on official website of SSC to act with the utmost decorum and notify the candidates soon to vanish all doubts regarding the cut-off for JSO Post.
